Royal blue morroco leather cover, stamped line decoration with a red fleur de lys foilage mosaic on the flat covers and the back, with ribbing, gilt edges on marbling (Quinet). Very pleasing mosaic binding. Edition with a print end date of 27th of october 1664. Brunet describes only 2 editions with this date, believing that one of the two is the original. However he did not appear to know ours, in 100 pp. Tchemerzine, VII, p. 52, thinking it was a counterfeit of Lyon or Avignon.
