Paul Pascal : Paul Pascal (1832 1903) French orientalist traveler painter born in Toulouse (France) and died in Washington DC. He was trained in the beaux arts schools in Paris and Madrid (Spain). He travelled to Italy, North Africa, Egypt, Syria and Turkey. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1876 to 1880. Bibliography: Little Masters of Painting 1820-1920 Works in public collections: Musée Paul Dupuy Museum Fine Arts Narbonne, Museum of Fine Art of Agen (France), Utah Museum of Fine Arts (USA) Recently rediscovered, an exhibition was dedicated to his work in 2014 in the Land Museum Vauvrais in France.
