Tripod vase, engraved on its periphery with two alternating motifs. The first consists of three triangles evoking mountains while the second is a glyph. They are delimited by two bands at the top and at the bottom. The feet, remained raw are engraved and openwork. This type of ceramic reflects the influence of the city of Teotihuacan in the Mayan region. Brown terracotta with bright red slip with important traces of manganese oxide. Mayan culture, Guatemala, 450 - 950 AD J.-C.
H. 12.5 - Diam. 12.5 cm. Good condition.

She studied at Ecole du Louvre, and then worked with experts, galleries and auction house specialized in paintings from the XIXth and XXth centuries.
