Keith Haring
"Jean-Charles de Castelbajac Woman Winter 1990-1991"
Rare poster in colour serigraphy on thick paper representing the last known drawing by Keith Haring. This poster has been created for the women's collection 1990-1991 by Jean Charles de
Castelbajac
Dimensions: 63 x 63 cm

History:
Jean-Charles de Castelbajac was the recipient of the last drawing by Keith Haring. Just before he died from AIDS, in 1990, the artist posted the sketch he had envisioned as an invitation to his
Autumn-Winter 1990-1991 fashion show. We can see the famous "Radiant Baby", his premonitory figure. We can also notice rays around Castelbajac's particule: "When you come from a young country like
America, you are fascinated by these histories of aristocratic distinction," confided the fashion designer. Last known drawing of Keith Haring. "Keith entered my life like a shooting star," he
recalls. "A sudden and self-evident friendship which lasted three years. He was introduced to me by Sydney Picasso and had bought me a coat made of teddy bears to offer to Madonna. When I think of
him this Cervantes phrase comes to mind: 'Keep in your hand the hand of the child you have been'. For many, Keith Haring appeared as naive; I also see in his work the cracks of childhood, a period
which shapes the imagination. When he came to visit we would make exquisite corpses as a family, with my sons Louis-Marie and Guilhem."
