Shepard Fairey, also known as Obey Giant, is a contemporary American street artist.
He first became known for his sticker campaign "Andre the giant has a posse" (... OBEY ...) while attending the Rhode Island School of Design.

He has been making prints for years and they are very collectible.

He became widely known in the 2008 US presidential election for his "Hope" poster from Barack Obama.

The Boston Institute of Contemporary Art considers him one of the most famous and influential street artists.

His work is in the Smithsonian, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, New York Museum of Modern Art, San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art, National Portrait Gallery in Washington DC, Virginia Museum of Richmond Fine Arts and London's Victoria and Albert Museum.
