Born in the Kremlin-Bicêtre (close to Paris), Laurent Vialet is a self-taught artist. Having lived his childhood in a family atmosphere where painting was constantly present, he naturally followed in the footsteps of his uncle, Jean Kevorkian (1933). Both claim to be neo-impressionist landscape architects.
Laurent Vialet paints on the motif, the evanescent atmospheres of landscapes and seascapes, particularly in Brittany, Normandy and the Ile-de-France. He works according to nature, in a freely interpreted daily newspaper. "The very essence of my painting is the search for spontaneity," says Laurent Vialet.
The Japanese and Americans have been seduced by the paintings of this young painter and regularly give him a warm welcome.
