Maurice Estève : (1904-2001) was a french painter, who was born in 1904 in Culan (Cher), and who died in the same city in 2001. Estève is one of the main painters of the Nouvelle école de Paris. An excellent colorist, his style is characterized by intermingling shapes, which natural and organic qualities witness a great deal of poetry. At the 42nd edition of FIAC, in 2015, the Applicat-Prazan Gallery exhibited 24 of his paintings.
